Children’s Vision

Vision is essential for learning and children may not necessarily complain of a vision problem as they assume that what they see is normal. We suggest regular eye examinations for all school-aged children to ensure that they are as visually available for learning as possible.

If your spectacles have been involved in an accident or just looking a little bit tired, bring them in for one our friendly staff to have a look at. If we can't repair or refurbish them in-store, we work with local optical technicians who can.

Every person and every eye is different. That is why we use thousands of data points to measure and determine the eye parameters. By manufacturing lenses based on the individual data of the eye, spectacles are created that provide their wearer with the sharpest vision. With B.I.G. Vision® , Rodenstock has created a paradigm shift in eyeglass lenses by adapting to the unique shape and size of each eye.

Using the DNEye® technology, Rodenstock makes B.I.G. EXACT™ lenses based on an exact biometric eye model. This includes its length and several thousand data points in the eye – far beyond industry standards. With the help of these data sets an exact eye model is generated for each individual eye. All relevant biometric data flows directly into the lens production process - on this basis, we can calculate a lens that fits each individual person as perfectly as possible. This allows us to determine the centre of sharp vision for each individual eye. And spectacle wearers benefit from the sharpest vision for every angle and every gaze, no matter where you look.
